Featuring a ceremonial USA Flag retirement ceremony
This short festivity will include appropriate music & readings. Featured will be a Flag Retirement Ceremony hosted by the West Barnstable Fire Department in accordance with the US government, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the five branches of the armed forces.

Everyone is encouraged to bring worn American flags for proper retirement. At this event, we will honor our flag, reflect on the true meaning of Flag Day and consider what it represents to our Nation.

Come join us at Meeting House Farm in West Barnstable as Russell Norton, Extension Educator discusses timely subjects in the vegetable garden. The program will take place in the community garden and include a demonstrative approach to help you learn about how to have a better vegetable garden. Each of the three programs will include a different set of topics including everything from soil to how to implement integrated pest management (IPM).
