Tree Blitz
This month Meetinghouse Farm welcomes Barnstable United Fourth Graders for
TREE BLITZ - an annual week of field trips which extend the Grade 4 Science curriculum.
With the help of Americorps Cape Cod, students learn about tree ecology, soil health, invasive species, seed planting and data collection.
Students arrive with enthusiasm and curiosity. A great way to complete the school year!

Come join us at Meetinghouse Farm in West Barnstable as Russell Norton, Extension Educator, discusses timely subjects in the vegetable garden. The program will take place in the community garden and include a demonstrative approach to help you learn about how to have a better vegetable garden. Each of the three programs will include a different set of topics including everything from soil to how to implement integrated pest management (IPM).
